Similar in design to the Gem was a slightly more ornate model, usually seen with a "Home Music Box" or "New American Musical Box" stencil. Incorporating all the features of the simpler [[instruments:organette:roller_organ:gem]] model, it added a hinged swell cover with glass insert, and an upright name board where the stencil was shown. These models were rarely shown in advertising, but are occasionally found today. Unfortunately the name board is often missing or damaged, as it was not an integral part of the case. In addition to the common dark “black walnut” finish, a few were manufactured in a varnish finish.
