See also: Template for Manufacturers
Please use this “template” to organize the information in a similar manner–that will make it easier for the public to find pertinent info. But be flexible–sections may be added, deleted or renamed if they do not apply.
You may wish to copy this “clean” template to paste into a new page:
The “rule of thumb” is that each section should fit on about one screen–if there's too much info, just make references like more_info, and then follow the link to create the new page(s).
For [a similar or oft-associated instrument], see some_organette.
... see [[:organette:some_organette:]]
The manufacturer's name and bio could be included here, but if the manufacturer is shared with another instrument, it may be better to reference like this:
The [instrument designation] was manufactured from 1800-1900 by some_company
... by [[:manufacturers:some_company:]]
Provide history about this specific instrument–patents, production dates, quantities, serial numbers, etc.
Instruments which use this section will also be listed on the By Key Scale page.
What it plays: Rolls, Cylinders, Barrels, MIDI, etc.
Tips, technical info, etc.
Specific references can always be included in footnotes1) but if there's a lot of information, put it in a “References” section.
... footnotes((It's easy to create footnotes))
