Template for Instruments

Please use this “template” to organize the information in a similar manner–that will make it easier for the public to find pertinent info. But be flexible–sections may be added, deleted or renamed if they do not apply.

You may wish to copy this “clean” template to paste into a new page:


The “rule of thumb” is that each section should fit on about one screen–if there's too much info, just make references like more_info, and then follow the link to create the new page(s).

The manufacturer's name and bio could be included here, but if the manufacturer is shared with another instrument, it may be better to reference like this:

Provide history about this specific instrument–patents, production dates, quantities, serial numbers, etc.

Different models might be expanded on separate pages:
